When Is the Best Time to Book Your Newborn Photo Session?

 

We recommend booking your session around the 5th to 7th month of pregnancy (mid to late second trimester).

Newborn photography is best done within 7 to 21 days after birth, when your baby is still very sleepy and can naturally curl into gentle, womb-like poses. This brief window is ideal for capturing your baby’s purest and most peaceful expressions.

To secure your preferred date within this special time frame, we highly recommend booking in advance.

Babies grow and change rapidly. By 4 weeks old, many babies become more alert and sensitive to light and sound. Their awake periods grow longer, which can make sessions more challenging.
